How we check what we publish.

We publish lottery and gaming information for Victorian readers. Our facts come from official sources only. We do not speculate, aggregate second-hand reports, or publish unverified claims.

Sources we accept

We use two types of source material. The first is direct operator filings—lottery licence applications, rule changes, and prize structures published by the operators themselves. The second is the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) licence register at https://www.vgccc.vic.gov.au, which holds the authoritative record of all current and historical lottery licences in Victoria. We do not use other websites, news archives, or third-party summaries as primary sources.

Sources we reject

We do not publish information from synthetic lottery-betting sites, which offer wagers on overseas draws. We also reject offshore operators without a current Victorian licence, even if they advertise to Australian players. Aggregator sites that republish lottery data without linking to a primary source are excluded. If a fact appears in multiple places but originates from none of them, we treat it as unverified and do not report it.

What triggers an update

We update a page when an operator changes its rules or game structure and files the change with the regulator. We also update when the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) revokes or suspends a licence. Readers who spot errors can report them, and a verified correction will prompt a page revision. We do not update based on rumour, speculation, or social media claims.

How we correct mistakes

When we make an error, we fix it in place. A dated note appears at the top of the page to explain what changed and why. We do not silently rewrite text or delete inaccurate passages. All corrections and clarifications are visible to readers. If you have found a mistake, email [email protected] with the page URL and the fact in question. Include a link to the primary source if possible.
